What is Vata Elimination Like?

Like we have mentioned in the article here, Vata Dosha is governed by the air, which means that they are prone to dryness. People who have a Vata constitution are prone to emotional stress, which makes them prone to constipation as well.

What is Vata Stool Like When Normal?

  • It is darkish in colour, maybe dark brown.
  • Vata people generally get their stool within the first few hours of waking up.
  • It is regular, comes out very fast.
  • It is firm, not in tiny pieces.
  • There is no gas that accompanies the stool.
  • It has minimal odour.

What is Vata Stool Like When Imbalanced?

  • It is dry or hard.
  • It comes out in small scantypieces.
  • It does not get eliminated properly.
  • It is not very frequent, maybe even less than once in a day.
  • It is darker than normal.
  • It is accompanied with a lot of gas and flatulence.
  • It has an astringent smell to it.

Tips to Make Vata elimination Better:

  • Vata types are actually pretty dry so make sure there's enough water going into the body.
  • Make sure you're eating food on time everyday.
  • Don't rush through your meals; take time and chew your food.
  • Consume food with high fiber which helps in easing excretion.
